This morning I did my first distribution of flyers at Kawanishi Noseguchi Station with the kind assistance of Derek, owner of SSE Tsukaguchi. In fact, it was a lot more than help; he was a great teacher. In return, I’m going to help him with flyers on Friday. Working as a pair made the job a lot more efficient, and I learned a lot in those 2 hours. I’m sure that Derek and I will carry on with this arrangement, and I know that I would be happy to “job share” with other franchise owners.

John,
That is a great idea that you and Derek have found. We should help each other more. It is good to have two foreigners out there passing out the flyers. Maybe we can work together sometime too.

John,
Thank you. It was a pleasure helping you out and I look forward to continuing to work with you.

John and Derek –
Great you guys! You might be interested to know that when Kawanishi and Koshien opened in the fall of 1999, the previous owners of Kawanishi, Takarazuka and myself, the then Koshien owner, used to help one another with flyers. Back then we didn’t use flyer staff so we would rotate ourselves as a group to all three schools. Worked like a charm then and it’s just as good if not even more important today!
Keep it up!

Martin,
Thanks a lot. Nothing beats doing flyers with a fellow franchisee who cares about Smith’s as much as I do.

John and Megumi,
Welcome to the TEAM!
It was a pleasure meeting you both at our recent seminar. The entire Smiths team is here to support you on your way to achieving your personal goals for your school.
You may be new to our system however you now have a wealth of resources available to you through your new, and oftentimes, very experienced network of Smiths School of English franchisees.
Take advantage of this team and leverage the knowledge made readily available to you and you will quickly witness the tremendous benefits of joining a well established team versus trying to go it alone. Japan works with teams; anyone who knows anything about Japan knows that much. Good choice my friend.
Welcome aboard,
Alex
