Recently one of the nurses from my doctor’s office joined our school. Although the clinic is for gynecology and dermatology, if you go there with other problems, they are willing and indeed happy to help. Because of this, they get a lot of business in this season for colds and flu. This nurse had recommended we head over there to get a flu shot, and although I had never gotten one before, I agreed it was a good idea. So off I went last Thursday night between my 4:00 and 6:00 lessons.
Although the clinic is a short walk from my school, I was worried I might get held up there waiting. (If it had been Canada, I surely would have! Likely for over an hour–or even two.) In I walked, and was greeted immediately. I did wait a short time, but only about 5 or 10 minutes. The doctor (who speaks great English) was helpful and kind, and quick–which was great for me, as I had to get back to my classes!
Painless, friendly, and efficient. I got to say hello to my student, too!
