Fifth Wedding Anniversary Celebration

You are here: Home / Blog / Fifth Wedding Anniversary Celebration

My wife and I recently spent a night at The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka  to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary, which is on July 18th.  This year my wife was pregnant and with our baby’s predicted date of birth being August 11th,  we decided to celebrate a little earlier than usual. We went on Sunday, June 27th and I was back home in Tsukaguchi, Amagasaki on June 28th in time for my great job teaching English conversation (英会話) in Japan at my English conversation school (英会話スクール), Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi (スミス英会話 塚口校) in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture. As always, we had a wonderful, relaxing time.

It was our fourth time celebrating our wedding anniversay at The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka. We love this hotel! The staff is friendly, the service excellent, the food delicious, the hotel gorgeous  and the view from our room always fantastic. We are not rich. We always get a package there.  I think that it is reasonable for what you get. This year our package included (amongst other things) a  deluxe room on the Club Floor located on the 34th floor. Staying on this floor gives us access to the Club Lounge, where light meals are served several times a day and we can get food or drinks outside meal times by asking the staff.  Tables next to or near windows offer an amazing view of Osaka. As Club Floor guests we also check in on the Club Floor, unlike other guests in the hotel who check in on the first floor. To get to the Club Floor by elevator, you insert your room key in a special keyhole. You turn your key, the button for the Club Floor lights up and the elevator brings you there.  That’s really cool. I always get a kick out of that! (^.^)

All guests have access to a fitness center on the 6th floor.  My wife and I especially love the jacuzzi outside near a pool. It’s very nice and relaxing. This year soaking her entire body in the hot water was out for my wife (being pregnant), however she still enjoyed soaking her legs in it and taking photos of me.  You can see me joking around in a photo. (^.^)

We enjoyed sitting by the window in our room in the morning and at night enjoying the amazing view of Osaka. On the left is a  photo taken in the morning. Amazing view, eh?

I highly recommend The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka.  My wife and I always look forward to going there again.  For information on packages or regular room rates, you can check out the web site by clicking here. Enjoy!
