Enjoying Japan and Living in an Osaka Guest House

You are here: Home / Blog / Enjoying Japan and Living in an Osaka Guest House

January 15, 2013

Hello everyone! This is Scott from the Smith’s Tsukaguchi English school writing for my first time here on the Smith’s School of English Soapbox. I am definitely enjoying my time here in Japan so far. This is now my second time back and I can’t begin to tell all of you how exiciting it is to be back in Japan. I am now living in Osaka in a guest house with many incredible and interesting housemates. I am glad that there are plenty of Japanese people that live in my house because it gives me the opportunity to really practice my Japanese and make good friends. Many of the people in my house come from all different parts of the world. We all get along really well and do a lot of different things together. For many of us, it is our first time in the Osaka area, so we like to venture out and explore our new home. We also have a good time in the house as well. We have had parties for Christmas, New Years and I even shared the famous American holiday of Thanksgiving. There is never a boring moment in the house.

So far I have had a very interesting time in Japan. I am sure that I will have plenty of interesting stories to share with my students next time I’m at Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi (スミス英会話 塚口校).

Scott
