Ed’s Weekly Video Recommendation: Les Miserables Medley

You are here: Home / Blog / Ed’s Weekly Video Recommendation: Les Miserables Medley

Over the new year’s holiday I went to see the movie version of Les Miserables in theatres. It was my first time going to the movies in nearly 3 years, and I didn’t regret my choice! Fantastic, fun and entertaining from start to finish, the almost 3 hour movie just flew by and before I knew it I was at home wondering what had happened. Having not gotten enough in the theatre, I quickly jumped onto You Tube and found a huge collection of Les Miserables songs, videos, musical clips, trailers and so on. One in particular stood out, and I’ve chosen it for this week’s video recommendation. Cleverly filmed & edited and nicely displayed, this week’s clip shows an overlay as one man, Nick Pitera, sings all nine main characters from Les Miserables in a perfectly done medley. Many people I showed this to doubted it’s authenticity, saying he’s too good and it’s not possible for one man to sing so many different parts and claiming it’s a cleverly lip-sung hoax but I think it’s real, and I think he’s great. See for yourself and make your own decision, but either way, enjoy!
