Ed’s Weekly Video Recommendation: Kites aren’t only for kids

You are here: Home / Blog / Ed’s Weekly Video Recommendation: Kites aren’t only for kids

Every week I post videos which I think my English conversation school students will find interesting. Usually I try to post something with English content so as to give them some extra listening or reading (in case of subtitled videos) practice. It’s so important to be exposed to the language you are studying everyday so I hope that these weekly videos give my students an opportunity to enjoy English between lessons.

This week’s video however has almost no English in it, but rather I have posted it to inspire everyone to do their best. Take up a new hobby, try your best, practice practice practice. Never give up and know that what you are doing will benefit you, make you into a better person. This video is of an elderly gentleman flying his 3 kites in a park. Simultaneously flying all 3, in time with music, making the kites dance like ballerinas. This gentleman shows us that kites aren’t only for kids, and playing is something we should all be doing regularly. Enjoy!
