So there I was, at a restaurant close to Eda Station (江田駅), wearing my Smith’s jacket and this quickly got the attention of two young ladies eating lunch. One of them was in the process of looking for a new English school and immediately struck up conversation with me about the Smith English Conversation School’s English program in Azamino (あざみ野駅). After passing them my business card they invited me out to an ohanami (お花見) party and we were off to a park near Shibuya to check out the cherry blossoms. I must say it was quite a fun time, we sat under some beautiful cherry blossom trees, drank hot wine, and had a good time till late that night. Some more proof on how Japan is one of the friendliest places in the world and is always full of surprises. You never know who your going to run into, and in this case I may have a potential new student!!!
