DreamsMoving to Japan

One of my dreams had been to moved to Japan so I looked on the internet for places to live in Osaka. I didn’t know anything about Osaka at the time but found some apartments online that were close to Osaka Castle. I also didn’t know anything about the castle. On my first trip to Japan I visit Osakajo and was very happy to see it in real life after seeing it on the computer. I remember thinking at the time that it would be nice to live in the area.

After I moved to Japan and became an English coach and later Owner of Smith’s Eikaiwa Kyobashi, I hadn’t realized how close I was to one of my dreams.  One day however when I was walking around the Kyobashi area I  noticed the castle behind some buildings. It made me smile to realize that it had happened.

Riding Through the Castle

DreamsOne of my dreams was live in Japan. It is an amazingly beautiful country and I am so happy to be here. Although my dream of living close to the castle did not completely come true, working close to it is the same. Now when I ride my bicycle home at night, I sometimes ride through Osakajo koen and smile again knowing that I am here helping others with their goals and dreams.
