Hi! I’m Derek and I teach English in Kawanishi at Smith’s School of English Kawanishi and also in Tsukaguchi, Amagasaki at Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi.
I love bakeries in Japan. In Kawanishi, I love Coo’s Conservo (クーズコンサルボ). I know of two Coo’s Conservos in Kawanishi. One is in Bell Flora East and the other is in Bell Flora West which are both connected to Kawanishi-Noseguchi Station. This blog is on the Bell Flora West one where I am a regular customer. This Coo’s Conservo is just half a minutes walk from Smith’s School of English Kawanishi. I often eat there in the morning with other Smith’s teachers. I also like to get something to go on my way to my English school.
This Coo’s Conservo offers a ¥300 morning set of toast and a drink from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. You can choose any drink that costs up to ¥300 on the menu. There are also some food items in the shop that can be combined with a drink for ¥350 during all business hours. For this set, you can also choose any drink that costs up to ¥300 on the menu.
Besides a good selection of sweets, there are other tasty things sold there such as sandwiches, pizza and fried chicken. Sometimes I buy a huge hamburger called Manpuku Burger (満腹バーガー) to go. This burger is really tasty. You can ask the staff to warm it up for you in a microwave. When eating in, I like having a Hot Sandwich (ホットサンド) and something sweet with coffee. My favorite sweet thing there is bread topped with walnut pieces and sugar icing called Walnut Danish (ウォルナッツデニッシュ). It’s so delicious! (^.^)
If you happen to see me at Coo’s Conservo, please come and say hello. I would be pleased to meet you.
Derek
