Chilly? Sure but still lot’s of outdoor fun.

You are here: Home / English School Articles / Chilly? Sure but still lot’s of outdoor fun.

When most folk I meet outside of Japan are asked their impression of Japan the response is usually missing one very important point. Japan is not well know as a location to go for outdoor sports. I strongly believe that a healthy body makes for a healthy mind and so was very happy to find such easy access to nature and sport in Japan. It’s interesting to note that recently the Australians have also caught on and have turned the Japanese ski fields into a “must go” destination, often in preference to their own snow. The Australians love the Japanese Mountains and for good reason, they are gorgeous. I personally spend quite a bit of time in the mountains with my dog but when I am not in the mountains and I have some spare time you will probably find me on the water. This weekend was a long weekend, record snow fell all over Osaka and it’s environs, many rugged up and grabbed a good book, but me, I was out sailing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSvMJHb_eyQ

Come on now get up off that chair and get out in the nature that surrounds all Japanese cities.

Mark.
