Beautiful Kinmokusei Flowers
I love the Kinmokusei flowers. The orange smell is one reason. Another is because it blooms around the anniversary of my move to Japan.
Four years ago in October I arrived in Japan to start a new life, and it has been amazing. I have been able to visit many places in this beautiful country. My life here has been so enjoyable that it is hard to believe that so much time has passed. I am reminded of the phrase “Time flies when you are having fun.”
The fun that I am having is not just from traveling, but also from being an English coach. The Smith’s Eikaiwa system adds to the enjoyment of being here and of coaching. I love what I do and I love where I live. There is no place else that I would want to be. There is nothing else that I would want to do.
These years have been like a vacation; one that never ends. Every time the Kinmokusei blossoms, I remember the beginning of my life here. I smile when I think of how far I have come and the things I have done. These flowers will always have a special place in my heart as a symbol of new beginnings. I am looking forward to many more years in Japan and with Smith’s Eikaiwa.
