Barbecue Party at My Home

You are here: Home / Blog / Barbecue Party at My Home

I have just had a sunroom built on the house where we live and had some grass planted outside of the sunroom. Adding the sunroom made my yard look just like an English garden (slight exaggeration LOL). Did you know grass is a very important part of English and American culture? The topic of Grass and Lawn Mowers quite often makes its way into the TOEIC test. Consequently, when you take a TOEIC test, don’t forget what a lawn mower is and what it is used for.  I often joke about it with my students because I remember spending thousands of hours taking care of my lawn and trying to make it look as good or better than my neighbor’s. I wonder how much of the U.S.’s GDP grass-related products and services accounts for?

By the way, I am planning to do a barbecue party and use this sunroom at the end of the summer or the beginning of the fall. I and also my students can’t wait for the barbecue party at my home. It’s going to be fun!  Enjoy the pictures.  We still have to do some more furnishing and add some plants but it is getting there.
