Azamino School and my training at the Kyobashi head office

You are here: Home / English School Articles / Azamino School and my training at the Kyobashi head office

After spending a lot of time researching the various options for starting an English school I’ve decided to buy a developed Smith’s Franchise school in Azamino.  It’s a very organized school and I couldn’t be happier with how Mike and Deana have things set up.  There’s a nice solid student base, very nice location, and the apartment has been nicely converted to a 2-classroom school with reception.  As for the support I am getting from the head office.  I must say I’m quite impressed!  I was able to get my visa approved in just under 3 weeks, and I got a 3-year visa the first time around which was nice.  Before taking over the school I went down to Osaka to do 3-days of training with Mark at the Kyobashi English Conversation School.  Mark spent a tremendous amount of time going over all the curriculum, marketing, and administrative support (not to mention all the other time before the sale answering my questions).   Definitely a worthwhile experience, and it really reinforced the fact that I made the right decision.  I also had a chance to meet the staff and see them in action.  Very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional.  These are exactly the kind of people you would want giving you support.  So in all I am very much looking forward to my new life here in Azamino.  It’s a very solid system and it’s great having a team of people behind you doing everything they can to ensure your successful.

I know just how you feel, Rob; I purchased the Smith’s Nagaokakyo school in September of last year and have been benefiting from system strengths and HO input/support ever since. Good luck and wish you every success!

Hey thanks guys!!! Yes, things are going quite well here, really enjoying all the students, and enjoying the area. Couldn’t be happier… Hopefully we’ll get to meet up one of these days.

    Cheers,
