This week, which was quite busy with a few trials, walk-in inquiries and the usual full load of lessons, I got a special surprise. When I called in to ask about a student’s lesson, I was informed that a student who had taken a trial at Smith’s School of English -Fukushima (スミス英会話福島校)had decided to join my school (スミス英会話岡本校)in Okamoto as he lived in Okamoto and Mark over at Fukushima has recommended me as a great high-level teacher. This was a pleasant surprise and it brought back the acronym “TEAM” that we use at Smith’s. Together Everybody Achieves More. Working together we make the franchise and our own businesses more successful. Being a member of a franchise has brought such rewards time and time again. On top of this, we have a great staff of young women at the head office who work hard to take calls from the students for trials and lesson booking and a myriad of tasks that benefit us as franchise owners. The best part is the chance to teach some truly wonderful students. And that really makes it all worthwhile. Never a dull day at Smith’s School of English. I enjoy it every day.
Oh, meet one of my students. She is working hard to master English and I am sure that she will succeed. Smith’s School of English Okamoto Student.
That’s great Al. I completely agree. The same thing happened with me before. A young man took a trial lesson at Smith’s School of English Kotoen, went to Smith’s Head Office then decided to join my school, Smith’s School of English Tsukaguchi! We really do achieve more together, have a great staff at Smith’s Head Office and such wonderful students.
