An Extraordinary Testimonial スミス英会話 甲東園

You are here: Home / Blog / An Extraordinary Testimonial スミス英会話 甲東園

Hello everyone.  We all need to toot our own horns once in a while, and corporately we really ought to toot together as a group.  Well, I got a really nice testimonial from a high-level student at my Smith’s School in Kotoen  ( スミス英会話) just recently and I thought you might like to hear about it.  It is important.  It’s a reflection of our company, our system and as a team working together.   This testimonial is therefore for all of you.

It goes like this, slightly paraphrased so as not to embarrass the student, but completely intact in spirit and general language used:

“The other day something interesting happened to me at work.  I work for an international company and I received a telephone call from a native English-speaking employee.  He asked about health insurance in Japan, how it supports family members and whether it could cover a health check and required vaccination for his daughter.  He hoped national health would cover preventive medicine.

I am happy to state that I was able to explain very clearly to him that Japanese national health insurance was designed to cover 70% of treatment costs but preventive medicine must be paid by the patient.

I felt more confident than ever using English in an official circumstance.  Since I started taking One-to-One business classed with you, my ability has definitely improved.  I cannot describe exactly how or why but just that it has and I wanted to express my appreciation to you!”

Wow!  English conversation (英会話) classes at my Smith’s School  in Kotoen ( スミス英会話 甲東園 ) are making a difference and the same can be said for all the スミス schools and staff in our system!

That’s a wonderful comment and I’m sure you feel very happy with your student and you should feel proud of yourself. These are the moments that we as teachers just relish. Great job to you and your student.
