A New Coaches view of Smiths Curriculum

You are here: Home / Blog / A New Coaches view of Smiths Curriculum

Hi my name is Simon, I’m new to Smiths and I have been working at our Head-Office branch Kyobashi Corner for three weeks now. At first when I took a look at our curriculum and teaching tools I was blown away by how much material there was, and I admit that I was a little nervous learning it all. But after having fantastic training and being thrown in the deep end, (I like this, “thrown in the deep end”, if you just do it and use everything you have learned, plus don’t panic you will be alright). My first lesson went well and I’m happy my training was completed in this way, now its three weeks on I still come a little earlier to learn and create a lesson plan, I even try to pick a lesson that I don’t know and use it for the day. Thats it, all I wanted to say is even though the sheer size and volume of the materials look daunting at first everything is set out for you to understand and easily use. It is even set out in a set by step format which is fantastic if you get a bit lost or nervous in your lesson. Thanks Smiths for an easy and fantastic curriculum!
