One of my newer students originally told me that her hobbies were reading and listening to music but recently she is saying that coming to my lesson to practice is now her favorite new hobby! Wow! That makes me feel good. She said that after the lesson she cannot wait for the next week to come so that she can come to practice with me again. She seems very excited to be able to speak English and work to improve.
Such simple little experiences are so meaningful as a teacher and school owner. It makes us really feel that we are providing a needed and useful service to our students and it makes us want to do even more to help them to improve even faster.
I am really enjoying this job!
