One of my students came for her lesson last night and was very excited to show me he score report for the TOEIC. She made a 90 point improvement and this has been since she started studying with me. This made me feel great too!
TOEIC is quite a hard test for our students. In is a measure of how close their English ability is to that of a native speaker. There are some techniques that can be used but nothing works better that just plain using English as much as possible. Whether that be reading, listening or speaking, we must continue to urge our students to take every opportunity to use English. The more used to it they become, the better they will do on such tests.
It is times like that which make being a Smith’s teacher-school owner worth all the effort. We have to keep up the work because there is not end in sight of students here who need our help.
