Whilst we can’t really stop the Japanese owned chain schools from reading these pages we are not here for them. We are here for any English teacher who wants to own his/her own English school. Smith’s School of English keeps as its main marketing platform the foreign teacher ownership of the English school business in Japan. Of course we do want all of our foreign English teacher owned franchises to be successful. However we know that not everyone can be nor even wants to be a Smith’s School of English franchise owner, fact is we are not for everyone. That doesn’t bother our main marketing platform. We desire the proliferation of foreign owned English schools no matter whether they are Smith’s franchises or not. The focus of these posts is to provide free franchise and English school information to ALL those who do already own and operate or want to own and operate their own English school in Japan.
