3 hours well spent

You are here: Home / Blog / 3 hours well spent

Tonight one of our students at Smith’s 英会話 Hirakata was sitting in the waiting room when I came out and I noticed her colorful nails. Quite a few young ladies get their nails done at a salon and I must say that I’m a huge fan of French Nails myself. Simple yet so elegant. You can’t go wrong. But back to my student tonight, her nails were simply stunning. Halloween theme and all as you can tell from the picture. What was even more amazing was that she did them herself. They took her, wait for it, 3 hours to do. Quite simply a job well done.

I’m often amazed at how much we can achieve when we put our minds to something. Write a book, create a website, master magic, or learn a language are just some of the many things we can accomplish when we decide to do so. It all starts there, a single moment in time when we make the decision to make a change.

I can’t wait to see her X-Mas version : )

Wow! That’s amazing! A new student of mine makes cute bracelets and earrings as a hobby. At her trial lesson, she wore earrings that had little pumpkins! Cute!
Another student of mine is a nailist and her nail salon is in the room next to my school.
