Hello, and Happy New Year!

I recently wrote an article explaining that I would be going home to America for the Christmas holiday, and I spoke about all of the great foods that I would eat.

It’s very interesting how life works, because once I was in America and had left the Los Angeles airport, I went directly to “Taco Bell“. I ordered two been and cheese buritos, and yes, they were delicious. However, I had many opportunities to eat some of my other favorite foods, but for some reason as I stood there in the restaurants at times and gazed at the items that I had been dreaming about for so long. I just didn’t care to order anything and just walked out. I’m not really sure why. I didn’t eat the mediterranean food that I was determined to eat, and I didn’t eat any Southern BBQ.

photoNow don’t get me wrong, I did eat some great food Mexican food ( Chimichangas, Nachoes made with pork n’ beans, enchiladas, etc) my Aunt’s two home made Roasts, my cousin’s Ham, green bean casserole, a footlong coney, big American Hamburgers, and last but not least American Pizza.

I have to admit I was very happy.

I actually didn’t even gain any weight until I arrived back in Japan. I gained two pounds, but that is due to a cold that I caught and have not been able to work out.

Here is a picture of a piece of Pizza that I bought at a place I used to eat at on Hollywood boulevard and Cahuenga all the time.

1. One slice of sausage, cheese, onion, pepperoni, mushroom, and green pepper. – $8.00
