On the subject of food I just had to tell everybody about this. I popped out to a restaurant between coaching lessons on English Conversation in Fukushima (英会話福島) this week and was absolutely flabbergasted. By the time we human’s hit 54 years of age we think we know a lot about food. A strawberry as big as my hand proved me wrong. I mean just take a look at the photo.
Now as we all know quite often when we get an abnormally large piece of fruit it is not that tasty. Please let me assure you, this particular strawberry tasted great. I became wary and asked the restaurant owner had this strawberry been tampered with. Perhaps genetically engineered using the latest biological technology. His answer was that he had grown it in his own garden and could do it again. Amazing. Delicious.
