Smith’s School of English is now providing free online listening lessons for students to practice over and over at home. There are three ways to access these videos.
- From the Main Site TOEIC Lesson Page 無料TOEICレッスン
- From the Japanese Blog 無料オンラインTOEICレッスン
- From the Smith’s School of English YouTube Channel: ssejapan
Listening practice is good for all students but the TOEIC listening (part 3) type lessons are best used by higher level students. Read my friend John’s post about these lessons. Keeping it Fresh!
In the near future, it is expected that Smith’s students will be able to benefit from in-class lessons that are related directly to these free TOEIC listening lessons. The in-class lessons will include reading and discussion of the related topics with homework. If students read and do the questions and practice exercises at home prior to attending the class, the in-class activity can include more discussion and work using the new vocabulary. Smith’s students will begin to really use English and make excellent progress while enjoying the company of like-minded students who share the same pursuit; the mastery of English. It will become progressively more fun to study and use English. (Note: The in-class lessons are basically an extension of the ‘News Events’ part of the standard Smith’s curriculum and can be taught the same way as those lessons are taught, but having the online TOEIC Listening lesson sharing the same topic with the in-class lessons will help the students to get more out of the lesson each week. And they will experience all abilities: reading, writing, speaking and listening).
Also Smith’s School of English is providing a very beneficial mini-lesson or one point lesson each week for all students. This can be found three ways.

When used in combination with in-class lessons, these free online lessons will really help higher level students to speed up their progress toward the mastery of English.
Both kinds of free lesson are being developed to be fresh and truly useful for students. I highly recommend students to use these resources fervently for maximum results.
At Smith’s School of English we are working hard for our students! We care more about their progress and want them to become confident and reach their highest level.
Enjoy these new learning resources!
