On Sunday June 7th, 2009, the Okamoto School and the Fuse School joined to have a Bowling-Karaoke Event in Kobe. We met at Rokko Bowl in the afternoon and were going strong until 7:00 p.m. Alex and Smiths School of English Fuse joined. This was the second time we have done this and last time, also, Alex and the Fuse School joined despite having to travel so far from the Eastern part of Osaka.
We certainly had a great time and I gave small prizes to the top 3 bowlers. As was expected Masafumi M. was the top bowler and he was very helpful to advise others on how to improve their game. Masafumi U. was second and Yuuki M. was third.
Karaoke was fun too! Take a look at the video.
The fun continues at Smith’s!

Hi guys,
I love to get together with my students as we always have such an enjoyable time. The students talk about them for weeks and look forward to the next group party etc.
We have not gone bowling together as yet but there is plenty of time to communicate with each other between turns so maybe we’ll have a game soon. We did have a karaoke session a couple of months ago and it was a great success.

Al & Alex-
Looks like you had a great time. I have met Mr. Masafumi several times at Smith’s events and although I knew he had excellent English skills, but I had no idea he had such great bowling skill! Congratulations to all the winners and maybe SSE Ohtsu will join you for the next round of bowling!
