Speaking of eating and drinking in Kotoen 甲東園, lots of great new places are coming up all the time. とりのすけ Torinosuke has become one of the favorite hangouts for English Conversation students at the Smith’s School of English in Kotoen スミス英会話 甲東園 as well as students of Kangaku University.

The offer is simple. You pay 3,000 yen and you have free reign on the entire menu both liquid and solid for 90 minutes. How much can you eat in 90minutes? Better measures are evident when a group of young fellows try to imitate Oktoberfest celebrations on Friday nights. No need to impress the girls because they are busy doing the same or patiently cuing outside for their turn to come in and partake. Some forget to eat. It all gets quite raucous, really and that’s my kind of place.
