I think that anyone who chooses to buy into Smith’s is making a wise choice. If you happen to buy from Alex Stanciu, you are a lucky buyer. Alex is probably a workaholic and he is definitely extremely well-organized. Buying a school from such a person means that all the documents you require to make your decision will be ready before you ask for them, and the school will be running efficiently and smoothly before you get there. Everything will be organized and easy to find. His attention to detail means that the school will have everything you need and will look clean and professional. All files will be up to date, organized, labeled and properly maintained.

I recently bought a school from Alex, and all of the above was true for me. Alex was fair in what he included in the price and I had nothing to worry about when I arrived at the school. What stands out the most, however, is not how the sale of the business was handled, but the extras that Alex did without being asked after I arrived. On the day I arrived, Alex cleared his schedule for the entire day. He taught classes and introduced me to the students on that day, but he didn’t stop there. He showed me around the neighborhood, introduced me to some of the local business owners, and took me shopping to ensure that I would have something to sleep on. Our shopping adventure ended with him carrying a futon on his back for the 30 minute trek back to the school. He also took me to the grocery store. As well, he put me in contact with a contractor, who was a former student. The contractor spent an entire afternoon with me and didn’t charge anything because he was a friend of Alex’s.

Alex left his numbers so that I could reach him, as well as all the important numbers that I would need to do business. Before he left, he told me to call him anytime, and he meant it. He returned on another occasion to answer some of my questions about students and show me how to change ink in the fax machine. He assisted me in ordering water and let me make the first order in his name. Alex will not only follow through with anything he agrees to, but he will go above and beyond to make sure that the transition is smooth for the students and for the new school owner.
