Smith’s School of English, Sagamihara, Japan- People Helping People- 3/11/2011

Jim here, from Smith’s School of English, Sagamihara. Ten years ago- March 11, 2011, 2:45pm, I had just said goodbye to two students. One Minute later, the building started shaking. I consider myself a lifelong learner. One of my passions is vocabulary. To speak every day Japanese did not take me too long because I live in Japan and studied hard. However, with every new activity I begin I need to study a new vocabulary set. At this time I am studying paragliding. I have studied a lot of new Japanese vocabulary that I would never use in everyday life in Japan. So whether you a native English speaker wanting to study Japanese or a Japanese wanting to study English I suggest you minimize your initial vocabulary study to only what you must have to survive your daily life. Then step by step study the vocabulary life brings you. Meanwhile please enjoy watching my first "high altitude take off". This take-off point is 500 meters above the ground. smithweb.co.jp/kawanishi/ ...
