Okamoto is located in Higashi-Nadaku of Kobe, Japan. It is where I have my Smith’s School of English. It is very nice place to live and work. Okamoto is famous for its many bakeries and confectioneries offering a multitude of delicious candies, pastries, breads and cakes. I often have to stop myself from too often stopping to eat one of these delicacies. Amazingly since coming to Japan I have lost seven Killograms and reached my lowest weight since my college days. I weighed 76 Kg when I arrived in Japan in June 2006 and now weigh only 69 Kg. Just doing the necessary walking everyday and getting used to smaller portions has helped me become more trim and healthy- a great secondary benefit of moving to Japan and starting an English school in Okamoto.
I have to admit that I also want to look younger and more fit to my younger female students too. Oh yes, Okamoto also has one of the highest populations of attractive young women in Japan. You see, the bus stop for the Konan Women’s University is about 100 meters from my school and Cafe DECO, which is located on the first floor below my school, is one of these students’ favorite hangouts. DECO serves very good pasta, cakes and creme puffs for a reasonable price and the girls can really relax there and do things like curling their hair and putting on makeup. Man am I a lucky guy to own a Smith’s School and work in Okamoto!
