Hey, it’s Mike from Smith’s School of English Tsuruhashi checking in for the first time and I’m feeling good…. Why????
Well, let’s see… First, I had had a couple of things on my mind today and a few things I had to deal with regarding the Tsuruhashi school. So, I called up Mark and he happened to be busy at the time, but he returned my call in a flash.
Before, I even got into the school stuff, I had to share what was on my mind with Mark. Today it happened to be Japanese driver’s licenses. I took a day off today to go all the way down to the licensing office only to be rejected. I had all the paperwork, but I had just renewed my Canadian license in January, so from the office’s point of view I looked like I fresh driver. Mark informed me that he had encountered a similar situation and that all I need to do is to get a driving history abstract from back home. So once again, small problem avoided. Cheers Mark.
Mark probably had a chuckle over it because he knows that whenever I call, there’s always something.
Well, I can never say it enough, but thanks for the help, help that stretches way beyond the limits of the an English school.
Then, all personal stuff aside, school stuff was taken care in a breeze and I was brought up to date on the super cool advances going on in the system. Wow,wow wow!
Within an hour I’m typing my first post in the newly created Tsuruhashi corner! Talk about a giant step forward! I’m amazed at all the great lessons and stories already being shared amongst us. I’m looking forward to sharing with everyone , so keep an eye out for new posts from this neck of the woods. Until then, Mike out….
