On Thursday, my curriculum and start up materials arrived; on Friday, my table and chairs were delivered and set up. On Wednesday I will receive my business cards and that first sweet set of flyers, and Gavin will also arrive to conduct the initial three-day training. Last night I went to my favorite bar here, where the owner himself put one of the tri-fold brochures up on the bulletin board for me (and asked for a second so he can put them up front & back). Not only that, but he took down everything else that had been there, so my brochure really stands out! I also left some Smith’s postcards in the entrance where everyone can see (and take!) them. Soon, very soon, I shall have students at my English school. It’s all so full of promise and adventure, like diving into a river on a very hot day. Deep breath, jump, and then aahhhhhh, just wonderful. Everyone wish me luck!
