I have a student here who has been studying with Smith’s Otsu school for over four years. I remember vividly when she first started and arriving with her mother for a trial lesson. At that time she was only 13 years old and wearing her school uniform. She was somewhat intimidated sitting opposite a foreigner for the first time.
Over those four years she has been preparing to enter a high school of her choice, whilst cramming for entrance exams she took some time off Smith’s and returned after a few months. She did the same again for entering University. In between all that、 she participates in an orchestra playing the Oboe.
She is now a Kansai University student.
Over time, her English has improved immensely. I hope, I in someway contributed to her passing her English examinations.
Either way she has matured so much and she has just returned from an Eastern European trip.
Just goes to show you, if you are a busy person, but still want to have a flexible schedule, then Smith’s is the way to go.
