I tried a new one point at the beginning of the lesson “For me, I was impressed when I (A)”. I made a few examples for her to follow and then she replied by saying “For me, I was impressed when I first met my Smith’s English teacher Craig”. I said “Wow! That’s very thoughtful of you”. To which she replied “I’m kidding”, she had learnt this sometime ago in a previous lesson as an opener too.
In earnest, she made another example by saying “For me, I was impressed when I first flew in a plane”.
I feel I teach my students too well, as my sense of humor is starting to rub off on them without a doubt.
