This weekend has our first national holiday since Golden Week and it marks the beginning of Festival Season which Yoko and I revel in every year.
One Monday student at my Smith’s School in Fukushima was quite disappointed last week to learn that lessons would be canceled for the holiday. You should have seen the look of joy on his face when I told him not to worry because there were five Mondays this month!
