I recently read that Japan has inaugurated a new Tourism Agency. Here at Shimokitazawa Smiths we were thrilled!
Both Geo and I are from a country that knows the economic and cultural potential that a thriving tourist industry can bring. We also know about the necessity to be able to communicate in an international language. Fortunately, for Smiths owners, the international language is English. The goal has been set to increase tourist numbers from 8.5 million (calculated in 2007) to 20 million per year by 2020. This can only mean good things for English language and conversation teaching in Japan, especially for Smiths owners, business will thrive!
This is a great incentive to get going with those flyers in the Shimokitazawa area! I hope other owners can see the potential too!
