I remember back in the 80s Atari was BIG…people were crazy over games such as Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Frogger. I remember playing against my friends on a black and white 8 inch TV. Wow, how times have changed?! In the past 20 years technology has literally exploded, it’s hard to keep up with all the changes. We have iPods, PSPs, 3D TVs, Blu-ray, and cell phones. It’s hard to find someone these days without a cell phone. On the train you’ll see people watching TV , listening to music, typing messages, and even talking (that’s how much cell phones have changed) on their phones. Each company is trying to outdo each other which means the consumer, us, wins. There are phones with 10 megapixels?! Wow, that’s better than most cameras two years ago. You have GPS, so you can find where you are and plot a course to where you’re going (easy to do on the iPhone). It’s hard to imagine just how they can improve on today’s models but somehow they always do. Here’s a picture of my son with his favorite toy…can’t get it away from him once he gets his hands on it. Any guesses what it is? The world today truly has changed.

I always find your posts interesting, especially that I love new technology, but sometimes find it a bit daunting.
Regarding your son’s favourite toy, is it your iPhone or just a plain old cell phone? I can’t quite make it out.
