I was browsing through some of the smiths home pages as I sometimes do and I stumbled upon Alex’s homepage. Not only does it have some great photos of his Fuse school but it also has a wonderful video introducing himself and his students. It looks really professional and I’m certainly going to try making such a video for the Nakamozu home page. Everybody should check it out if you haven’t already. Well done mate, great idea and one that I recommend everyone should try as we get more and more students joining via the web alone.

Hi Damien,
Thanks for the article. We want to update our web page this year and starting with what other Franchisee’s have done well is a great place to start!
Alex, Damien is right, your homepage is great!

Always nice to hear about positive things other schools are doing. Having little youtube intros are fabulous and hopefully I’ll get around to doing one myself in the near future.

Damien,
I appreciate your kind comments; thank you. I enjoyed putting the video together and plan to put up an updated one later this spring to highlight the changes which we made to the interior during our renovation over the Christmas holidays!
They were long overdue and the school feels “new” again!
Thanks again and I’m looking forward to seeing other such video introductions up on fellow franchisee’s sites.
By the way, several other franchisees have put extra effort into “spicing” up their school’s home pages and I look forward to seeing other schools follow the trend.
Its fun and the students enjoy it!

Damien,
Another fantastic website is Derek’s at Tsukaguchi. Lots of great events pages and student comments and so on. Head office support and ideas being generated between teachers is resulting in some great advertising content on the web. Looking forward to seeing some new stuff on your site! I hope to do a similar video to Alex’s soon as well.

The video idea is one that I hve had for a while and I even have a bit of footage already. just have to get some more footage, edit it and put the whole thing together. Glad to see someone has already done it so I will take a look and get some ideas.
thanks a lot!
