Yes, I think we are. I worked for a large company here in Japan when the bubble burst. Students kept joining regardless of the large fees they had to pay… That was surprising to me…But I think those days are coming to an end, and this is why we are special…We are Smith’s…We require our students to pay by the month. They are not threatened in the least. Our requirements are spelled out very clearly to them. They can stop taking lessons with us without losing money. But most importantly, they get VALUE for their monthly tuition…We are good…We provide the best in Japan…I believe we are the best, and certainly recession-proof! Spread the word!

English has itself firmly ingrained into society and the need for it will only increase in time. The largest English conversation school closed its doors last year and now more than ever students are in need of good schools. With English being part of the education system from elementary school it’s essential that they practice using their English if they hope to master it. I’m proud to say that I’ve been able to help quite a few students over the years and look forward to many more joining my school in the future.

Jim-
I second your statement. We are solid and have so much support and trust from our customers, as well as being very affordable. I have no concerns- in fact, I feel we are growing…..
