This month started off a little slow. I only had one trial a few weeks ago but suddenly this week I got a new fax showing 6 trials this week. What a pleasant surprise! I was beginning to worry ….a little. But as has happened many times, there was nice surprise waiting for me when I got to the school on Monday.
To be sure, promotion of your school is not an easy thing to do. You can read my earlier post about my first Christmas in Japan in which I explain what it took to double the school’s size in 6 months. It was not easy but it was actually a lot of fun. It will test your perserverance for certain, but if you keep a positive attitude, you will succeed. I am convinced of this. If I can pick up another 10 or so students I will have succeeded in doubling the school again in 8 months. Of course, nothing is automatic. You have to get out there and give it your best smile and stay positive and polite. All the time you have to remember that no one is your boss and your success or failure is up to you. You have to be dedicated. If you are nothing can stop you! I am feeling that every day!
