It started out as a humid day and now the sun is out in all it’s glory. The temperature is rising fast. Summer in Japan is just around the corner. In fact it starts tomorrow since today is the 20th of June.
It’s time to get out those T-shirts for the flyer helpers and/or yourself and get out there! Strike while the iron’s hot they say. While some of the big schools are feeling some student discontent due to their collection methods, lack of lesson times and perhaps teachers and rules which limit reimbursement of tuition when a student wants to quit early, we at Smith’s School of English have a good opportunity to find some more students. But flyering is how we plant seeds that hopefully will take root and grow into a real student. What an interesting analogy! Of course more and more the students find our schools via the web, but passing out flyers is still necessary. The personal touch of passing out the flyers is still very effective and cannot be overlooked. So it is time to brace yourself for the hot and humid Japanese summer and get out there!
Even this part of the job can be fun!
